We have moved. Our new address is: The old post office Station Road Sowerby Bridge HX6 3AA Dismiss

Given the current unprecedented circumstances, we have decided to take
further action regarding the service we are able to offer. Please read
all of the following notice:

As of Wednesday March 25th we are open at the surgery between 9 am and 5
pm only, and only on weekdays.

We are running this service with reduced staff and FOR INJURY AND
ILLNESS ONLY.

For any enquiries regarding your pet, if you feel you need an
appointment or need to collect medication, we are here, but please
please telephone us first, do not come into the building unless we are
expecting you.

If you have an urgent issue, our Receptionist or Nurse will take the
message and liaise with the on site Vet. If appropriate and necessary,
we can then either arrange a consult in the Clinic or on the Telephone
(as we have been doing so far, this will be a chargeable consult).

We ask that the minimum number of people attend with the patient,
preferably just ONE PERSON to accompany the patient please unless we
agree otherwise.

We also ask that on arrival you wait in the car and notify us by phone.

We are here to keep you supplied with ongoing medication but this will
be subject to the usual Vet decision and supply of stocks. Please
contact us in advance as much as possible.

We can post medication out also.

We can receive information (eg photos to help with telephone consults)
and queries on the email info@friendlyanimalclinic.co.uk but please note
we will only respond to the emails between 9 am and 5 pm.

We feel it is not appropriate to encourage client attendance for routine
affairs that can wait for a short time, hence routine appointments for
boosters, flea and wormers, neutering etc is on hold for now. We will
still be able to supply flea and wormers when appropriate but it may
take 1 to 2 days.

Outside of weekdays 9-5 we will be operating the EMERGENCY SERVICE, but
unable to receive routine enquiries. Telephone the practice for
instructions.

We appreciate your understanding and support during this uncertain time.
